Tilebox can now filter datasets by fields chosen by the dataset’s author, as well as by location and time. You receive the matching results directly, rather than fetching a broad set and sorting through it yourself.
For example, you can look for Sentinel-2 images of an area during a particular week, with less than 1% cloud cover and from a specific satellite. Those conditions work together in a single search.
For teams building their own catalogs, this means searches can reflect the information that makes their data useful. Dataset authors choose which fields are searchable before adding records; people using the dataset can then narrow their results around those details.
