This Cookie Policy explains how Tilebox ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies. The analytics and external-media settings described below apply to the Tilebox marketing website. The Tilebox console, documentation, payment services, status services, and external websites are not controlled by these settings.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit a website. They help make websites work more efficiently and provide information to website owners.

Which cookies do we use?

We use browser storage to remember your separate analytics and external-media preferences. Security services may process browser and connection information to protect forms from abuse. Optional PostHog analytics are disabled unless you select “Accept all” in the cookie banner, “Accept all & watch” on a video, or allow analytics in Cookie settings. Allowing analytics is not required to browse the website or contact us.

On the marketing website, the following technologies are used:

  • Preference storage — Browser local storage remembers your separate analytics and external-media choices.

  • PostHog — After analytics consent, cookies and local storage recognize visits and support website analytics.

  • Cloudflare Turnstile — When you choose to verify the contact form, Turnstile processes security information to help distinguish people from automated abuse. This security check is separate from optional analytics consent.

  • YouTube — After you allow external media, embedded players load and connect to YouTube.

PostHog starts only after you allow analytics. It collects page activity, including the public content you view, clicks, and navigation, to help us understand how the website is used.

Third-party cookies

PostHog analytics includes page URLs, referring pages, campaign parameters, browser and device information, and identifiers stored in cookies and local storage.

Contact submissions are processed through Cloudflare and its email service, and newsletter subscriptions are sent to Loops. These requested services are separate from analytics. See our Privacy Policy for the information processed.

Linked services, including Clerk for console authentication, Stripe for payments, and Betterstack for status information, have their own cookie and privacy policies. Marketing-site settings do not change your preferences on those services.

See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy for security processing and Google’s Privacy Policy for YouTube. Following an external booking or other link takes you to a service governed by its own policies.

Accepting all cookies enables embedded videos across the website without further consent prompts. You can also enable videos separately from analytics in Cookie settings. Blocking external media removes loaded viewers but does not delete cookies already set by another service or retract requests already made.

Managing cookies

Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings preferences. However, if you limit the ability of websites to set cookies, it may impact your overall user experience and certain basic functionality may not work.

Disabling cookies may prevent you from using key features of our service like logging in or making payments.

You can change analytics and external-media permissions independently in Cookie settings. “Accept all” enables both analytics and embedded videos. “Reject” disables both without blocking ordinary website content or contact forms. “Accept all & watch” allows both and loads the selected video, replacing any earlier refusal.

Withdrawing consent disables PostHog analytics, removes its active identity cookie and local storage, and reloads this page and other open Tilebox website tabs running analytics to unload PostHog. Save unfinished work first. Your denied preference and the analytics opt-out marker remain stored so analytics stays off.

Withdrawing consent does not retract information already received by PostHog or remove cookies on external services. To request access or deletion of personal information, contact privacy@tilebox.com.
