# JobClient.display

import { Fragment } from "astro/jsx-runtime";

import ApiReference from "@docs/components/ApiReference.astro";

import ParamField from "@docs/components/ParamField.astro";

```python
def JobClient.display(
    job_id: Job | UUID | str,
    direction: str = "down",
    layout: str = "dagre",
    sketchy: bool = True,
) -> None
```

Display a job diagram in an interactive Python environment, such as a Jupyter notebook.

Use [`JobClient.visualize`](/docs/api-reference/python/tilebox.workflows/JobClient.visualize) when you need the SVG markup instead of displaying it directly.
